Petri Andrushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reports on the incident.

The occupying forces today cleaned the ruins of the building and buried the remains in a mass grave outside the city.

“Remember the Russia Today (RT) propaganda video of a Russian tank shooting at civilians’ homes to get good shots? At the time, we pointed out that the video was filmed in the Pashkovsky Street area. 6 bodies of dead civilians were excavated from there,” Andrushchenko wrote.

“The occupiers have now begun to destroy evidence of war crimes in the area,” adding that the corpses were immediately taken to the mass grave, the mayor’s adviser wrote.

Andrushchenko added that this is the first recorded and indisputable fact of the killings of civilians in Mariupol for the purpose of obtaining video content.

“If war crimes reach unattainable heights, then the Russians have overcome them,” he writes.

Russia Today’s video of the destruction of the buildings was published on the 45th day of the war. The video shows a Russian tank driving through the streets of Mariupol and firing on civilian homes. The occupiers justified these actions with the need to “destroy” Azov’s “snipers”.

Mariupol is known to be one of the cities hardest hit by Russian aggression. The occupiers have practically destroyed the city’s infrastructure. Up to 22,000 civilians have been killed in the city since the Russian invasion. Nearly 150,000 people still live under siege.

The city is currently on the verge of an ecological and epidemic catastrophe.
