The Russian president assured that his government “cannot ignore the nuclear capabilities of the West.”
He President of Russia Vladimir Putinaccused the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) of being part of the war in Ukraine, by donating weapons to that country.
“It is not simply technical-military cooperation. Do they get money? No, they don’t get it!” the president said during an interview broadcast this Sunday.
According to the Russian head of state, Western military aid to kyiv implies “complicity with the kyiv regime’s crimes, including shelling of residential neighborhoods.”

The statements by the Kremlin leader come in the midst of a increasing cooperation from the United States, members of the European Union and NATO to help Ukraine militarily.
Among the measures, the US government recently announced the delivery of 500 million additional dollars to kyiv and the shipping Leopard2 tanks.
However, the western allies still refrain from going further with the supply of fighter jetsas requested by Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, thinking that such an action could worsen the conflict.

Putin once again put on the table a eventual nuclear conflictin the face of the growing increase in military support for Ukraine by the West.
This time, the Russian president argued that his government is attentive to the atomic potential of NATOafter denouncing threats against their territory.
“In the current conditions, when all the major NATO countries have declared that their main goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on us, so that our people suffer as they say. How can we ignore their nuclear capabilities under these conditions?he asserted in statements he delivered to Rossiya state television.
Putin insisted this Sunday that the Western allies want to “liquidate Russia (…) They have one goal: to dissolve the former Soviet Union and its fundamental part: the Russian Federation. And then, perhaps, they will welcome us into the so-called family of civilized peoples.but each piece separately, to be able to control it,” he said.
