They want to cheat Russia even worse than with the Minsk agreements – 2024-05-05 13:38:36

/ world today news/ The Western media put the “freezing of the conflict” in Ukraine on the agenda. Nobody wants to listen to Zelensky – they want a truce with Russia. But there is nothing to be happy about: they want to lie to us even worse than with the Minsk agreements.

The West does not believe in victory on the battlefield

The further we go, the more obvious it becomes: our enemy on the Ukrainian front is running out of steam. He is about to call for a truce. It is already sending us signals – it is impossible to mistake their meaning.

Simon Schuster’s famous article in Time, for which Arestovich* managed to compare Zelensky to a dictator left alone, is not the main event, it is better to say, one of many information events, each of which individually can perhaps is considered insignificant, but all together form a completely unambiguous picture: on the other side of the front line they do not believe in victory. Not in Kiev, not in Berlin, not in Washington. Nowhere.

Here is the sad statement of the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin “Putin can wait for us”.

Here is an article by Ukrainian commander-in-chief Zaluzhny in The Economist – he declares the transition to trench warfare, explains that there will be no “beautiful breakthrough” and proves that the current situation is more profitable for Russia, it can not only compensate for losses, but also increases its capabilities and weapons.

There are also many assessments of enemy analysts of various levels, among which I would highlight the writings of anti-state emigrants from Russia, because these characters hate us even more than Americans and want our defeat more than most “svidom”. ” and the accomplices of Zelensky with a “big heart”.

One of the emigrants, Nikolai Mitrokhin, recently wrote:

“Simon Schuster’s Time article on Zelensky is a clear sign that his platonic ‘romance’ with the West is over and it’s time to pay the bills.”

And then he explained in detail what these accounts were:

“Part of the Western equipment burned in senseless attempts to break through… The shock brigades, which had been preparing for at least six months and for the sake of which Bakhmut and Soledar were left behind, were “crushed” by the Russians.”

“The Russian army launched a counteroffensive, under the threat of capturing Avdeevka, the prospects for Kupyansk also look bad…” he says.

After a long list of Western complaints about Zelensky’s failures, Mitrokhin reports:

“The collective West would be happy if the Ukrainian armed forces reached the borders of Ukraine, but if this is unrealistic in the near future, then the option of freezing the conflict on the example of Korea or Karabakh “will also work.”

The word is said. The West wants Russia to win, but understands that Russia will not be defeated and its forces are running out. The West wants to freeze the conflict.

Treason is brewing in Russia

This is also clear to many on our side at the front. International political scientist Alexey Pilko, for example, describes the situation like this:

“They are trying to push through the ‘freeze’ scenario without much hesitation as Zelensky prepares for retirement and emigration after his defeat in the Ukrainian presidential election.”

Perla points out that at least two scenarios are currently being worked on in the West.

The first is a complete freeze for a very long time, actually like in Korea (the front has been silent since 1953 until today) or like in Karabakh (the front has been silent for 30 years).

The second is that the pause will last until the summer of 2024, after which the Ukrainian army will be sent on a new campaign, having previously been supplied with weapons and ammunition.

The second option, of course, is possible only if the Russians, from the president to the last volunteer, allow themselves to be deceived again, as during a formal action, but in fact a consistent non-compliance with the Minsk agreements by the adversary.

It seems that no one in Russia wants the second option, not even the most ardent “normalizers” and supporters of the “shameful peace party” – simply because even they understand: peace cannot be achieved this way. The first option is more difficult.

Hardly anyone from the Russian leadership wants to “fall into the trap of the third reincarnation of the Minsk agreements.” However, a decision in favor of “freezing the conflict” is now still possible. Perhaps because the notorious “party of peace” persistently and skillfully proves to the top leadership of the country that the majority supposedly wants peace.

It’s done like this. Instead of polls that clearly show support for the SVO and the Russian president’s policy at the level of 75-80% of the population, they slip into polls where the questions are phrased in a completely different way.

For example, on October 31, a study by the foreign intelligence organization Levada Center** was published. According to this poll, more than two-thirds of Russians (70%) would support Putin’s decision if he decided to end the military conflict with Ukraine “as soon as this week”.

Experienced sociologists work in Levada Center**. Therefore, the result of the survey is clear: if the president decides to “end the conflict on the condition of returning the annexed territories”, then only 16% would definitely support his actions.

But the answer to this second question, which, of course, is more important than the first (of course, the Russian people want peace, but they see peace as the result of victory, not defeat), does not need to be emphasized.

Meanwhile, the “freezing of the conflict” must be “sold” to the West not only to the Russians, but also to its own voters.

Of course, you can try to follow the path proposed by one of the candidates for the presidency of the USA from the Republicans Ramaswamy – to “make a deal”, according to which Russia retains all territorial acquisitions, the West undertakes not to accept Ukraine into NATO, and Russia into replacing that stops the fire.

But voters would see such a deal as a defeat for the United States. Therefore, completely different options are currently being discussed.

The worst part is that they are not only discussed behind the closed doors of Western governments. No, the West keeps throwing out what they say are possible options for a “freeze” and a “ceasefire” that would include the withdrawal of the Russian army from its positions. They get it in through the same Moscow “normalizers” who really want to believe that the majority of the population is behind them.

For example, political scientist Oleg Bondarenko boldly writes on a social network banned in Russia:

“There is only one option – the search for a compromise, and the search for a compromise is possible only through mutual territorial concessions and recognitions, however difficult they may seem to each of the parties.”

And he suggests that we give up territorially no less than Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

“Even despite the existence of an amendment to the Constitution, you can always introduce a moratorium on its action,” reports Bondarenko, without any embarrassment or fear.

So what?

You must understand: the proposal to cede “a little” of Russian land in exchange for a ceasefire is not the quirk or madness of an individual expert. This is the consistent traitorous position of an entire party that has its representatives both in the State Duma and in the expert community. Who wants to reconcile with the West so much that she is ready to sell her homeland for this dream – in the most literal sense. And of course, she will be satisfied with the “new Minsk” and will insist on the “new Minsk” according to the principle “it is not difficult to deceive me, I am happy to be deceived.”

This is not speculative, not theoretical, but a real danger of betrayal. And it should be taken seriously. Without falling into euphoria, because the enemy no longer believes in the victory of Ukraine. It is known that Russia cannot be defeated by a blow from without – but it is quite possible by provoking treason from within…

So the task of the patriots now is to expose the treason and categorically demand punishment for the traitors. It would be good under martial law, but in the first case the status of foreign agents and emigration are also suitable.

**Levada Center is included by the Ministry of Justice of Russia in the register of foreign agents
