It is a personal act, it is reviewed by the person who appointed the person to this post – in this case, it is the Prime Minister.
This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Dimitar Glavchev, to BNT.
In the specific case, for which the KRIB requested the resignation of the MIA chief, Glavchev recommended waiting for the results of the competent authorities. “We still do not know the circumstances of the two murders. Let the competent authorities do their job and we should not put so much pressure on the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After we see the results, appropriate actions will be taken”, said Glavchev and specified that then appropriate measures can be taken.
Regarding the problem of the wave of refugees and dissatisfaction with the work of the police in Germany, Glavchev commented that it is a “long-standing dream of Bulgarian citizens to compare institutions with Germany. As soon as we have come to be compared with the police in Germany, it is good for Bulgaria”, he made an analogy with the dissatisfaction with the work of the Bulgarian police.
Regarding intra-coalition relations, Glavchev defined it as strange when part of the ruling majority does not support the proposed changes. On constitutional changes, he recommended that it is better to be satisfied with what has happened, even if it is not entirely in accordance with your requirements. According to him, otherwise, everything is denied, instead of supporting the little that has been achieved.
Regarding a new coalition agreement, Glavchev said that they will sign it first in RB and then they will propose it to GERB. “This annex is related to events that are happening with them – they want to see how many of them support this agreement,” said the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. According to him, the anti-corruption must be such that it does not create a feeling of repression among the citizens.
Asked about the possibilities of restarting South Stream, Glavchev emphasized that the status of the project is frozen.
