Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, spoke on the air about the situation in the Kharkiv and Izyum directions FEGIN LIVE.
“Our troops are happily advancing north of Kharkov. And they release. One, second, third, fourth, fifth settlements. Heroically. They even say somewhere they squeezed someone, re-jammed. They seized a set of equipment, but all this needs a terrible clarification, – Arestovich noted. – I remind you that this is not a counteroffensive, but counteroffensive actions. They are tactical in nature. But when tactical actions are accumulated, they tend to turn into operational ones. Operational success is possible there in the event of certain circumstances … And they also recently moved east from Kharkov, which is quite interesting.
At the same time, Arestovich believes that the opportunity to liberate so many settlements from the Armed Forces of Ukraine appeared largely because the occupiers transferred their forces to the Izyum direction.

“Our counter-offensive actions near Kharkov, in particular, are taking place because, apparently, those troops that were already “sucked” from there, and “spit out” them in the Izyum direction and on Popasnaya, Severodonetsk, Rubizhnoe, because it’s stupid already not enough strength. Everything has been crushed, terrible losses … Which once again betrays the political goals of the leadership. They understand that Kharkov will not be held, there is no hope – to squeeze, surround, despite the big plans that were announced four weeks ago.
Arestovich also added that the occupiers have no progress in the Izyum direction.
“They stay where they are. They hit us, we hit them,” the adviser to the head of the President’s Office described the situation.
