PORDENONE. Vandalism, during the night between Friday 11 and Saturday 12 June, in Pordenone at Parco Galvani, where some works by Giorgio Celiberti were damaged.
A flock of sculptural sheep and goats installed in the green and damaged by people now actively sought by the police. In the meantime, the green area has been cordoned off to prevent anyone from being injured with exposed iron parts.
The exhibition “Celiberti a Pordenone”, which includes the damaged works, brought about 50 works by the master to 15 city locations. The exhibition, organized by Pordenone Fiere with the collaboration of the municipal administration and co-organized by the Friuli Foundation, with the support of Itas Assicurazioni and Schneider Italia, was set up last January as an off-salon of the Pordenone Antiquaria and Pordenone Arte events.
