It’s an old-fashioned method, which reminds us of the somewhat surly ancestor who relentlessly bathed the son so that he could find a job. Jean-Marc Teutsch, without showing too much on his counter, remembers the well-worn scene well…
“The concept did not suffer any intermediary, it was hussar I would say, implying present yourself at the door of a box, offer your services and come back with a job! I meet people there who have been away from employment for too long and we find solutions together… ”

Hear: the beneficiaries of the RSA – sine qua non – will, at the request of their new traveling companion, target five companies for which they would like to work (“as we did before in the directory!). Then the main thing remains to be done: “We just go there. Without an appointment, of course, and we ask to see the boss, says Jean-Marc Teutsch. We are necessarily surprised at first to see us disembark to offer a service, but in the majority of cases, we are welcome ”.
A partnership with the Restos du center de Woippy has thus just enabled several beneficiaries to return to work. “It’s a give-and-take system that pays off for everyone,” analyzes François, volunteer in charge of the social component, within the Coluche association. These people received the RSA of the department and will end up receiving a salary. For the community, it is very beneficial once the hiring is recorded ”.

Conclusive results
In a month and a week, a hundred companies in the sector were approached by Jean-Marc and his charges. Within the three partner associations of Valo’Lab, 17 people out of the 24 accompanied by a boss have found a job. “Without it, we feel useless in society. With this method, we also often learn that the company next door has struggled for months to recruit, ”François recalls. Figures that inevitably make you dream, as much as the simplification of the procedures they imply.
