Juarez City.- In support of children with cancer and leukemia and the population in general, the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) joined the blood collection, contributing more than 65 units, in an activity in which high-ranking officers, agents and cadets participated. from the Police Academy.

This noble cause was also joined by the head of the SSPM, Raúl Ávila Ibarra and the scorecard.

This activity will benefit children with cancer and leukemia from the APANICAL organization and the general population.

This activity is also part of the Social Proximity subject, which is received by aspiring preventive police in the Academy’s classrooms.

This activity took place at 7:00 in the morning at the facilities of the Municipal Police Academy, located at the intersection of Manuel Talamás Camandari and Federico de la Vega streets, in the Senderos de San Isidro neighborhood.

Medical personnel from the SSPM were in charge of reviewing the blood pressure of prospective donors and evaluating their clinical history.

To later transfer them to the area where personnel from the Blood Bank and Apheresis Unit (BANSURA), extracted their blood, which will aim to support children with cancer and leukemia; in addition to supporting the general population that requires it.

The SSPM highlighted that all participants voluntarily joined the donation, thus exceeding expectations by collecting more than 65 units.

“With these actions, the Ciudad Juárez Municipal Police reaffirms its commitment to give its best effort every day for the benefit of our community,” said the Municipal Police in a press release.
