The Orteguista Police (PO) increased this Saturday, May 30, the siege and harassment against the opposition Flor Ramírez, known as the “lady of the huipil”. In a video that she recorded herself and that circulates on social networks, you can see at least three uniformed people who surround her in front of her house, in Managua, and prevent her from mobilizing on the street.
“Go back to the house or I’ll take you into custody,” says one of the policemen. The opposition, 63, confronts them and asks them to leave her alone, but she is forced to return to her home due to the siege of the Orteguistas.

On more than one occasion the PO arrested her and forced her to take off her suit, but she has stood firm in her complaint against the regime and her demand for the release of political prisoners.

Also several leaders peasant opponents have been found dead for gunshot wounds or cutthroat wounds in the interior of the country.
ANDn 2018, more than 328 people died from the repression against civil protests, according to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Since then, the country is experiencing a political and social crisis that has stalled the country’s economy.
