They support safe return to classes – La Prensa de Monclova

The municipality of Ramos Arizpe will participate with cleaning and disinfection brigades, as well as with the delivery of face masks to students and teaching staff, to support the safe return to classes starting next August 23.

After participating in the meeting of the Covid-19 Southeast Regional Technical Subcommittee in which the in-person start of the educational cycle was announced in 433 campuses of the entity, Mayor José María Morales Padilla said that there will be special work to generate greater health security conditions .

“We are waiting for it to be defined for us how many schools will resume classes in Ramos Arizpe and what we want is a special operation involving Primary Services with cleaning and weeding, COMPARE for the revision of hydraulic installations, which is guaranteed that they have water, and Social Development and DIF for the delivery of face masks and sanitizing liquids ”, he explained.

Morales Padilla recognized that returning to the classroom represents a challenge, however, he appealed to the responsibility of authorities, parents and students for gradual progress.

“We do not know how long this virus will last and there are effects on children and young people for not going to schools, we have to take the step, but take it in a careful way. We must also be consistent because later the child does not go to school, but he does go to the market, he does go to the restaurant, or he went on vacation. It is still a delicate issue, and it will be evaluated little by little ”.
