When several matches take place in one week, there is no time to dwell on the defeat for a long time, because in three days another match will follow. On Wednesday, Fehér lost very smoothly in the home of Falco, the sole ruler of the last half decade, after a few days they welcomed and beat Sopron, which had undergone a coaching change, confidently. However, the guests started well, they took the lead after ten minutes, then came the Fehérvár cylinder, they led by one point at half-time, they started in a serious rush in the third quarter, leaving the westerners standing, the blue and whites won easily in the end, the only question of the match was, they would reach the hundred points or not. They achieved it.
According to the coach of Fejér counties, Alejandro Zubillaga, they did not play basketball in the usual rhythm in the first half, they did not play as they had agreed. After the long break, everything changed, and in the end they deservedly won.

– The hosts were better. Fehérvár is a very dangerous and strong team, so we expected a difficult match. It wouldn’t have been easy even if I had the entire frame at my disposal. We are missing many players, we could not prepare with a full team due to injuries and illnesses, but I don’t want to make excuses. We didn’t play badly in the first half, we tried to control the game, and we succeeded to some extent. In the second twenty minutes, my players got tired, my players didn’t have enough energy, we lost focus, our game fell apart, I had to ask for three timeouts, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to make a difference. We have to build from the first half, improve step by step, look better on the pitch.

– We started the match slowly, without the right energy, we didn’t do what we agreed to, especially in the second quarter. We obviously knew that Sopron was not in an easy situation, in the third quarter we found ourselves mainly in defense, we attacked faster, and in the end we won confidently. We have to postpone the good period we showed in the second half, because this game will not be enough for success later on.

A center is basically missing from the squad, in addition, it was revealed before the match that our tall man, Marci Molnár, cannot play the game due to illness.
