The images have been exclusively broadcast by the television channel La Sexta, which ensures that the former president “has breached confinement on several occasions to exercise in the surroundings of his home, in Madrid “.
In the recording, Rajoy is seen wearing sports clothes and carrying what looks like a heart rate monitor, walking outdoors. The Sixth also ensures that the former president’s attitude irritates his neighbors, some of whom have already voiced their complaints.

He mandatory confinement, imposed by the Government since last March 14 through the decree of the State of Alarm, prevents citizens from leaving their homes except for very specific activities, such as acquiring food, going to work in one of the permitted occupations, walking the dog or going to the doctor.
Citizens who fail to comply with the rules decreed in the State of Alarm could face penalties of prison from three months to one year or fines of between 601 and 30,000 euros, provided for in article 556 of the Spanish Penal Code.
