They showed their lesson plans. “How am I going to survive this semester?”

A new school year has begun. High school and elementary school students have shown their lesson plans. Many of them do not hide their disappointment. “If I survive this semester, I am indestructible,” we read under one of the posts.

The school year began on Monday, September 2. Social media has already seen first photos of lesson plans. Many students do not hide their disappointment. For some, classes start as early as 7:20 and end as late as 17:25. “If I survive this semester, I’m indestructible,” writes one high school student.

They complain about the new lesson plans

One of the students posted a photo of her class schedule via Threads. The day starts with a lesson mathematics or two hours of Polish. In the middle of classes she will have religion or PE.

“Only this religion in the middle of the schedule… should be at the beginning or end of the day, so as not to waste the time of those who do not want to go to it. Such a shoving of an optional interest club in the middle of the day is seriously rude on the part of the management,” we read on Threads.

Students at technical schools have even more reason to complain. Classes are held even on Saturdays. They start at 8 and usually they finish at 15:45 or 17:25.

“For a moment I thought it was the periodic table of elements”, “I feel sorry for PE in the middle of class, how do you do it? You can’t be in PE, then shower and put on make-up in one hour” – we read in the comments under the posts.

Students of the agricultural class will spend their holidays at school from 9 to 10 teaching hours per day. “On Monday and Tuesday I have from 1:10 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.”, “Chapel”, “Cross for the road” – we read under the post.

“The lesson plan changes every two weeks”

The situation is similar in the case of primary school. Tik Tok user @pawex839 started seventh grade. In the published video, he showed what his new schedule looks like. He calculated that he will spend 45.5 hours in school during the week. That’s five hours more than a full-time employee.

“In 7th grade, I had 9 hours a day”, “I’ve already got used to the fact that 7 hours is not much”, “Meanwhile, I, who will be the only one to get up at 7, will have 2 x 8 lessons and an additional 2 hours a day, making my father work on the excavator for less time than I will be away from home” – we read in the comments.

Students complain about the amount of classes, but also about the lack of stability. Many of them admit that even though classes start tomorrow, they do not yet have access to the schedule. “Everyone already has lesson plans for the new school year, but I don’t, and I’m afraid of what I’ll have” – complains one of the students in a post on portal X.

“I will only get it after it starts. (…) The lesson plan changes completely every two weeks,” we read under the entry.

“I received a lesson plan for two days,” writes another user, who adds that over the next two weeks the plan may change even daily.
