The number of coronavirus infections and coronavirus deaths in Turkey has increased in recent weeks.
The two doses received were 35,408,683. A third dose was given to 7,787,868 people. In the last 24 hours, 18,857 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Turkey – about 250 more than the previous day, BTA reports.
There were 232 deaths from COVID during the same period, said Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, who said “the losses have reached a painful level”.
According to health authorities, 46,317,869 Turkish citizens received one dose of the COVID vaccine.
In Turkey, it is mandatory to wear protective masks, exceptions are allowed only on the street and in parks.
