They head for the entrance. The two men are dressed in tracksuits but carry automatic pistols in their bags. A man moves behind them and opens fire on them. The two try to draw their weapons, but drop the magazines. Left helpless, Zhenya and Nikolov run to run, but are mowed down by bullets.
Immediately after the shooting, the killer comes down the stairs to the gym, jumps the guardrail and gets into a black Audi. The car went to the Romanian embassy. There they hear the shooting. “The embassy officials have heard. The Interior Ministry explained that a drug dealer was killed,” said Constantin Grigorie, the Romanian ambassador to our country shortly after.

The SDVR specifies that the murder was committed with an automatic weapon. General Director Rumen Stoyanov specifies that the shots were many, more than 20 cartridges were counted.
Two of the bullets hit Stefanov’s head, the rest hit his legs and body. He exhales on the spot. The guard was shot above the eye and in the cheek. He was hospitalized in a serious condition and miraculously survived.

The connections

Versions
None of the versions on the liquidation of the Woman is proven by the investigators. One is linked to the disappearance of 600 kg of cocaine, stored in Blagoevgrad and owned by the Colombian mafia, for which Poli Pantev was responsible. The other versions relate to the attempted murder of Samokovets on May 31, 2003 and of the Japanese.

After the murder of the Woman, the bloody executions did not stop. In the next two months, his extremely close friends Nikolay Zarev – Dankina and Nikolay Petrov – Kolyata were also killed.
On the evening of November 14, 2003, Dankina was awaited by the killers at the entrance to his apartment building in the capital’s “Nadezhda” residential complex. He manages to break free and run to the next block, but is overtaken and mowed down by a barrage of bullets.
On December 18, 2003, hit men liquidated Kolyat, who was a former bodyguard of Zhenya. The killers caught Kolyata in front of her son in her apartment in the capital’s Mladost housing estate. The killers of both remain unsolved to this day.
