39 kilograms and 298 grams of skunk were detained in a Plovdiv-registered truck at the Kapakule border crossing. This was reported by the Turkish site edirnesonhaber.com.
According to information, the driver with the initials PAP was detained.
Teams from the Edirne Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Department stopped the used truck, which entered Turkey through the Kapakule border crossing. During the search, which was also attended by a trained police dog, a total of 39 kilograms and 298 grams of marijuana, better known as “skunk”, distributed in 70 parcels, were seized.
The governor of Edirne wrote on his social media profile that the operations against “poison dealers” are continuing and congratulated the police teams for the action, the Turkish site also writes.
A clip posted on the media video channel shows the driver’s spectacular arrest, as well as the fact that the truck is registered in Plovdiv.
