A breast cancer prevention campaign is promoted by Agua Pura Salvavidas in support of the Friends Against Cancer Foundation (Fundecan), with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of self-examination for the early prevention of this scourge, which began last September.
“Do it for the ones you love, become the car exam, prevent breast cancer ”, is the concept of the aforementioned campaign, in force during October, a month dedicated to raising awareness about this disease, which can be fatal if not treated in time.
Claudia Lara, manager of Marca de Agua Pura Salvavidas, highlighted that the delivery trucks of his product carry the image of the campaign, as well as the jugs have a pink lid, to show solidarity with the population affected by cancer. In addition, informational flyers are provided as guides and reminders “for all of us to carry the message of conducting self-examination and preventing breast cancer.”
“We firmly believe in the importance of taking the prevention message to more than 350,000 homes and contributing to the fight against this disease.” Claudia Lara Pura Salvavidas Brand Manager
Isabel Herbruger, president of Fundecan, explained that detecting cancer when it is very advanced affects the effectiveness of the treatment. But, when it is identified in the early stages, the possibility of treating the disease quickly and surviving increases.
Federico Engel, manager of Corporate Social Responsibility of Agua Pura Salvavidas, said that, in addition to the prevention campaign, the brand has supported Fundecan with fundraising initiatives to benefit low-income patients.
