The founding president of the Paraguay Turkey Chamber of Commerce (Capaturk), Rodrigo Samaniego, traveled to the Eurasian country in recent days with the aim of strengthening relations with the main commercial entities of that nation.
According to this guild, visits and official meetings were held, which allowed obtaining the corresponding accreditation to establish ties in different areas between Paraguayan and Turkish businessmen.

The most important fruitful visits were to the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the second largest in the world; the entity known as DEIK, counterpart of Rediex-UIP in Paraguay; the Turkish Travel Agency Association; and the Association of Industrialists and Independent Entrepreneurs, among others.
In the opinion of the president of Capaturk, Paraguay presents challenging areas such as raw materials and processed agricultural goods, live cattle, yerba mate, coal, tourism and renewable energy.
History. After the birth of diplomatic relations between Paraguay and Turkey three years ago, the Paraguay Turkey Chamber of Commerce was created in April 2022, not only with the aim of strengthening trade relations between our country and the Eurasian nation, but also with the dream of establishing social and cultural ties between both peoples, above all, with the goal of promoting the Country Brand in the world.
“I think the time has come for global business and now we are taking the real and concrete steps. Although all the steps could be seen as business, they also have the weight of sharing social and cultural lines”, said Rodrigo Samaniego.
