TAMAULIPAS
State police agents seized an arsenal, drugs and six trucks with artisan armor in the municipality of Miguel Alemán.
In a brief police report, the Tamaulipas authorities did not give details of where these actions took place.
They only reported that the police seized 23 high-powered long weapons, 4,600 useful cartridges and 81 magazines of different calibers; as well as 16 bulletproof vests.
Six armored vans and 90 kilos of marijuana were also seized.
Miguel Alemán is located in the area known as “the small border” and which is appreciated by members of organized crime for being in a situation of little surveillance on the border with the United States, in addition to the neighboring municipalities bordering the state of Nuevo León .
