A trip on the New York City subway on Friday morning ended in violence for passengers aboard a line 6 train in Harlem. This after two women got into a physical altercation.
Authorities said a 24-year-old woman was injured after being punched after a dispute with another woman around 7:45 am on Friday.
The women argued, and the victim reportedly pulled out her phone and began recording the other. It was then that the alleged attacker beat the 24-year-old girl and stole her phone, according to police.
The uniformed officer pointed out that the attack took place on a train on line 6 heading south in the area of Lexington Avenue Y E 125th Street.
Police did not immediately release any description of the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
