Head DKI Jakarta Water Resources Service, Yusmada Faisal explained the infiltration well broke from Lebak Bulus and crash the car. In fact, one of the contractors in another place said the infiltration well is able to withstand the load of container trucks. Why did the infiltration well in Lebak Bulus burst through the car?
“The modular infiltration well is still in an unfinished condition. It has been negotiated with residents, tonight is being handled,” Yusmada told detikcom, Wednesday (12/8/2021).
The location of the infiltration well, or rather like a modular infiltration pond, which caused the car to fall, is on Jl Bona Indah, Taman Bona Indah Housing Complex, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.
“The infiltration well on the road must be strong enough to withstand the load. It broke because the concrete was only three days old, according to the vendor (contractor),” said Yusmada.
He explained that the infiltration well had not yet been completed, but it was run over by a car. It’s a mess. He asked the contractors for responsibility.
“This is during the construction period. If something is not perfect, it is still their responsibility. We are guarding,” said Yusmada.

The infiltration well project contractor here comes from the Arvirotech Group. Project Manager, Dedi Charles, explained to detikcom at the location that his party was indeed wrong because they did not put a sign on the project so that cars could pass by. They admit they were wrong. However, they explained that the cultivating infiltration wells could be strong enough for trucks to pass as long as they were 14 days old.
“We have removed the fence. Meanwhile, on our side, we admit that we were wrong, because there was no warning sign,” said Dedi Charles at the location.

Another infiltration well contractor, namely PT Jaya Beton, explained that their infiltration well will be strong enough to withstand a load of 30 tons.
“It’s strong for trucks or other loads. Heavy duty specifications. Can withstand a load of 30 tons, strong to hold containers. Like in Cilandak, Jl Karang Tengah, Jl Lebak Bulus III,” said PT Jaya Beton Site Manager, Jody Pradikta, when interviewed journalists at MIN 9, South Petukangan Village, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
