Hot Milk with new single “Where Does The Light Get In?” after a great show at Rock for People 2024, they are returning to Prague, where they will perform on November 19 at the Futurum club. Hot Milk, an emo powerpop band from Manchester, England, consists of Jim and Han. The two met in a bar in the Northern Quarter in 2016, became fast friends and have been living together ever since. What started over a bottle of wine and an acoustic guitar in the living room while it was pouring outside quickly became their vice and a way to survive everyday life. The Manchester weather, together with their persistent desire to make music, meant that one song quickly turned into several singles, and last but not least, their debut album, which they released last year. Hot Milk always knew that when the time came to record a debut album, they had to be ready. It was to become the loudest statement yet of who they were and what they stood for, and an opportunity to establish themselves among the top of the British rock scene. For their debut, they embarked on a scenic journey paved by three successful EPs – “Are You Feeling Alive?” from 2019, “I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I’m Dead” from 2021 and “The King And Queen Of Gasoline” from 2022. A constant stream of new songs meant that they never left the spotlight and the stage that they call their home. Their rise is constantly accelerating, so they shined as support for Foo Fighters, on the main stage of the Reading festival, at Rock for People in Hradec Králové or at their headline concerts in the cult London Koko and in the O2 Ritz with a capacity of 1,500 spectators. But the essential thing is that, thanks to a well-thought-out and unhurried rise to fame, they managed to find their way in the music industry and find their unmistakable style.
