A spectacular pawn shop robbery took place early this morning in Plovdiv’s ‘Karshiyaka’ neighborhood, ‘Maritsa’ has learned. The thief was walking with a hard object, probably a stone, in his hands, a few minutes before 06:00. When he approached the object on “Brezovska” street, he suddenly threw it with a step from the bowling alley and broke the window. He robbed everything in and around the window, then spat on his heels.
Security cameras caught the robbery, which happened within seconds. However, they do not show the thief’s face, as he wears a hood and a mask. According to information, he fled in the direction of Novotela. At the moment it is not clear what he managed to steal. The police are looking for him.
A video posted on social media shows that after hearing a crash and the sound of breaking glass, a man from a nearby property comes out to check what’s going on. He sees the robber but turns back, probably out of fear.
