announced the governor of the BNB, Ivan Iskrov.
Sufficient funds will be provided for it from the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the state budget and the Bulgarian National Bank.
The accounts of the majority owner and related companies will remain in KTB, which will not be protected.
The results of the review of the independent auditors at KTB speak, to put it mildly, of actions incompatible with good practices, Iskrov pointed out.

On June 18, 19 and 20, after numerous media and one press conference of members of the management board of Corporate Commercial Bank, BGN 1 billion were withdrawn.
Significant parts of the bank’s loan portfolio amounting to BGN 3.5 billion are missing.
Iskrov announced. The total loan portfolio of KTB is BGN 5.4 billion.
It is not possible to assess the financial condition of the debtors and whether they can service their loans, he added.
According to him, it is about deliberate actions. The report of the conservators, as well as the independent auditors at Corporate Commercial Bank, will be forwarded to the Attorney General.
