The study involved 2,795 people and was published in the International Journal of Cancer. The work revealed that the beneficial effect of physical activity to reduce risk was stronger when exercise was carried out regularly between 8:00 and 10:00 hours.
“These results, if confirmed, may improve current recommendations for physical activity for cancer prevention. What is clear is that everyone can reduce their risk of cancer simply by doing moderate physical activity for at least 150 minutes a week ”, highlighted Manolis Kogevinas, researcher and scientific director of the Severo Ochoa distinction at ISGlobal.
