This was announced at a press conference by Sergio Adrián Martínez, ICED Theater Coordinator, who explained that these activities are carried out with the intention of gradually and safely reincorporating artistic-cultural spaces into daily activity , a coordinated effort that also involved the active participation of local talent.
“It is important to highlight that the participation of the artistic companies was very important. On this occasion, it was possible to program 11 stage shows from the same number of companies, it should be said that even more proposals were made that were pending for future programming, so it is our first season with which we reopened the spaces and we say to run once more the curtain to live those emotions in person with all the care ”.
Unlike the virtual presentations that have been taking place throughout the past year and so far in the present, where the cast, direction and production worked completely remotely through virtual interaction, the implementation of this first season of theater in person, is synonymous with the recovery of the long-awaited normality.
Meanwhile, Carlos Juárez, director of the Victoria Theater, explained that among the measures to be taken, will be the limitation of capacity with the intention of providing all possible security to visitors.
“We are very excited to welcome the citizens again and we want to tell them that they have the security and the certainty that all the measures established by the Ministry of Health will be carried out to the letter. We will only have a capacity of 120 people taking into account that the entire theater is 400 people in its maximum capacity and we will comply with all the protocols; we are not going to lower our guard, just as citizens should not do it and take care of us all, “he said.
The cost per function will be 70 pesos per person and the sale will take place directly at the box office of the venue prior to the event.
Next, we list the programming of theatrical works that will take place in the aforementioned theater season.
