Two people were injured after the roof of a Pomorie hotel pool collapsed on them during the storm in Burgas. A partial state of emergency was declared in the city. The village is without electricity, BNT reports.
It was reported that one person fell overboard from a yacht after strong winds in the city took a dozen ships out to sea. The man was rescued by people from a nearby ship and is in good condition.
There was also news of a family stranded by the storm on the island of St. Ivan near Sozopol. Several villages in the area are without electricity: Mirolyubivo, Izvorishte, Ribarsko selishte.
The situation on the beaches is very serious, where even sunbeds and umbrellas have been broken.
At the last moment, people were evacuated from the beaches.
