The National Civil Police (PNC) reported the alive rescue of a newborn who was abandoned inside a septic tank in Izalco.
According to reports, Rural Police agents in Izalco, Sonsonate “received an alert from a family who heard the crying of a newborn in a septic tank.”
The police arrived immediately and located the baby, where one of them entered the grave with a rope and rescued him, who was still alive.
Subsequently, the baby was taken to medical care at the Mazzini Hospital in Sonsonate, where he is receiving care.
In addition, police authorities are carrying out the corresponding investigations to locate those responsible for this event.
