Julián Fernández Niño, director of Epidemiology and Demography, said that “Through Resolution 2383 of 2021, sanitary control measures have just been adopted for the entry into the country of travelers by sea through cruise ships, which are unified with those by air.”

In this sense, airport operators, airlines, air transport companies, customs agencies, territorial entities, port operators, cruise lines, Colombian Migration, Civil Aeronautics, the National Tracking Contact Center (CCNT), and crew members and passengers, They must comply with the measures established as of the date.

Measures for cruises arriving in Colombia

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection established that travelers aged 18 years and over who enter the country by sea through cruise ships, regardless of the time they stay in Colombia, must Present the vaccination certificate or card with the complete schedule or at least one of the two doses.

In addition, all international travelers, whether nationals or not, 18 years of age or older who intend to enter the country, must present the PCR test with a negative result, this must be issued no later than 72 hours before the time and date of boarding. .

That is, given the transmission that is most likely to occur within cruise ships, travelers entering Colombia must present both requirements.
