More than a thousand pounds of pure honey were stolen from a farm in Pueblo Bello, Cesar, where the production of this food, used mainly for natural medicines, takes place.
According to the owner of the property, Yeiner Bohórquez, unknown individuals entered the farm, and also destroyed the entire apiary with the hives where thousands of bees were housed for the production and harvest of honey.
These events happened last weekend and according to information collected by the affected person, the farmers in the area saw people who were strange to the place, who were traveling on motorcycles and whom they presume to be responsible, in addition to the fact that they had some knowledge in beekeeping to avoid being affected by bee stings.
It should be noted that the owner of the farm where the honey production was located, indicated that the theft amounts to 10 million pesos, and that in view of the facts he filed a complaint with the authorities so that those responsible are captured.
