There were no road closures or flooding, the channels and rivers are still below the warning thresholds for possible overflows, so in summary we can say that the work protection we are doing is shown because there is no effect.” .
Missene said “with data from our General Directorate of Water, In the last 24 hours, 32.2 millimeters of rain has fallen, maintaining a 20% precipitation deficit at Chillán station. At Las Trancas station, 50.8 millimeters fell, which leaves us with a surplus of water in that area, of 24%.

In the mountain regions, there was also work, due to the snowfall and freezing of the tracks. “In the mountain range, on the N-31 route in San Fabián, our Road crews applied antifreeze to the route, due to the frost, and on the N-55 route in Pinto, from 6 in the morning we started to clean them. and clearing snow from the path, 18 centimeters of snow fell and today we have 57 centimeters of accumulated snow at Volcan Chillán station”, he pointed out the seremi (S).
