The Ministry of Agriculture has announced several reasons for this
To date, Hristo Daskalov has been released from the post of “Executive Director of the BBAH”. He announced this in a briefing to the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to Deputy Agriculture Minister Krum Nedelkov, Daskalov violated electoral legislation by returning to work before the CEC announced the names of elected deputies.
According to NOVA, Daskalov is a candidate for parliament. By law, he must be on unpaid leave until the final results are announced.
According to Nedelkov, however, Daskalov returns to work a day earlier and shares both his position and that of other deputy candidates and the results of the October 2 elections with his colleagues.
After his return, he fired several employees of the Food Agency and appointed others in their place.
And more: Daskalov has “illegally” concluded an attachment to an expired contract.
“After all these administrative actions, he went on a business trip to Italy at the expense of a facility project at the BABH. The Minister of Agriculture was not informed of all these actions,” added Nedelkov.
Hristo Daskalov told NOVA that he had not announced any results. According to him, the official cabinet is behind his dismissal from the post of executive director of BBAH.
Daskalov was a major player when the issue arose between the state agency and the private company Eurolab 2011 at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing in the summer. According to him, this is one of the reasons why he will be removed from the post and the border post work will return to its old model.
By order of the Prime Minister, Hristo Valchanov was appointed Executive Director of the Food Agency. Up until that time he held the position of Deputy Executive Director, and from July to January 2022. he was the executive director of BBAH.
