SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, SLP., March 9 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, governor of San Luis Potosí, regretted this Wednesday that his request for authorization to import pediatric vaccines against Covid-19 has not yet been resolved by the federal government.

The governor indicated that regarding this request he was informed that there would be a response on Tuesday; however, so far the Ministry of Health of the Government of Mexico has not made a statement.

“There is still no response, they had told us that yesterday, Tuesday, there would be a written response, (but) they did not present us with anything. I directly contacted the Ministry of Health in the morning to ask about it and no, there is still no response” , said.

Gallardo Cardona assured that he will continue to insist this week to obtain a response from the federal Ministry of Health.

“Now that they give it to us,” he demanded and recalled that the state administration is already prepared with at least 50 million pesos to buy a first batch of this type of vaccine imported from Texas, United States.
