Firefighters from the Capital District and Highway Paramedics, better known as Ángeles de la Autopista, recovered the body of a man on the banks of the Guaire River, at the height of the Antímano distributor, Libertador municipality.
The victim has not been identified, since he did not have any identity document among his belongings. The man was dark-skinned, between 25 and 35 years old, had short hair, and was wearing shorts and a white flannel.
Commissions of the Investigative, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Unit of the Homicide Division went to the site of the event to initiate the pertinent investigations. So far authorities presume that the body was thrown in that place.
The corpse was transferred to the headquarters of the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences in Bello Monte, to be identified and determine the causes of death.
