The capital commune will give them to children on Three Kings Day.

The capital commune will launch a new edition of the solidarity initiative “Christmas Illusion and Toy Clinic.” Those interested in donating new or used toys, which will be restored by the “Toy Clinic”, may do so until the 29th of this month.

Last year, 650 toys were collected, which were distributed among various snack bars and Family Action Centers in the city. This year, the goal is even more ambitious: reaching 1,000 toys. According to the Undersecretary of Human Development, Daniela Amerise, “there are 1,000 smiles on boys and girls who are excited to receive the Three Wise Men on January 6.”

For her part, the Director of Direct Assistance, Marisa García, specified that those who wish to join this cause “can collaborate by approaching the Directorate of Direct Assistance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, located at Almirante Brown and Oscar Orías. You can also take the toys to the Undersecretary of Human Development from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., located on Dorrego Street, corner of Jorge Newbery.”

Finally, García encouraged the children to participate actively: “This year we also urge neighbors, children who want to donate their toys, to come to Ilusión Navidad and Clínica del Juguete, where they will also be able to take photos, they will to be able to leave your gift cards.”
