They raid a clandestine cocaine laboratory and seize several pieces of evidence

A series of pieces of evidence were seized from a clandestine cocaine laboratory that operated in a private home, in the Remansito neighborhood of Ciudad del Este. A sixty-year-old was identified as the owner of the home and is being searched for.

The operation was carried out by agents of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the National Police and the prosecutor Manuel Rojas Rodríguez. During the raid of a clandestine laboratory for the processing of narcotic substances, they seized evidence such as drugs and elements to process cocaine.
Six packages of alleged cocaine totaling 3,340 kilograms, two precision digital scales, two plastic molds, three wooden presses and a hydraulic jack were seized from the house.

Facundo Duarte Ortiz, 72 years old, who has a record for possession and trafficking of cocaine in 2004, was identified as the owner of the house. At the time of the procedure, he was not at home and an arrest warrant was issued by of the Public Ministry.
