The John F. Kennedy ship will move to the Cadell Dry Dock at the St. George Ferry Terminal. This while the city of Brookhaven, on Long Island, presses for the ship to dock there.

However, the president of the county of Staten Island, Vito Fossella, assures that the ship should remain in the city because it is iconic and is the image of his county.

Davidson, Jost and comedy club owner Paul Italia bought the ferry for more than $280,000 in January. And they plan to turn it into a floating entertainment space.

The Cadell Dry Dock is for repairs only and will not be the ferry’s permanent home.
