Bice (Bank of Foreign Investment and Trade) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Country delivered the first three credits in liters of milk to producers in Santa Fe who have a “zero rate” thanks to the benefit provided by the provincial government.

One of the companies is Las Margaritas Agropecuaria, a company from the town of Díaz, department of San Jerónimo, in the south center of Santa Fe, which approved financing for more than $140 million to introduce milking equipment, a cold one and to revive heat. With the investment, the company that supplies milk to the Verónica dairy will double its milk production capacity.

The other projects are for two companies in the city of Eusebia: Beltramino Agropecuaria and Beltramino Raúl Tito, the two suppliers to the center Miguel Peiretti SRL (Lacteos Santa María), located in the city of San Francisco. Each company received a loan of $250 million to purchase a robotic milking system that will increase their productive efficiency.

Raúl Beltramino, the main representative of Eusebia, told TodoLecheria.com.ar that the credit will be used to install 4 robots with DeLaval technology in a pastoral dairy farm owned by the company in the area of ​​Colonia Fidela, in the west center of Santa Faith.

The line in liters of milk was launched by the Ministry of the Economy and Bice to promote and modernize investments in the dairy sector. The machine converts the value of the quota at the time of payment​​​​to the value of the milk price (Siglea) and the essential condition is that producers work with plants that comply with the framework agreement with the Group -Directorate of National Milk.

The destination is investments and equipment purchases, such as robotic and rotary milking systems, room automation, monitoring systems, cooling tanks, pasteurizers and facility development, among others.

The line has a term of up to 5 years, up to 6 months of grace and a rate of Siglea + 5%, which is in the case of the Santa Fe region and thanks to the agreement signed between Bice and the local Ministry of Productive Development. , the credits They are completely subsidized and are not without additional cost to the producer.

Since its launch, 207 projects have already been studied, 187 pre-approved, almost 30% of which are located in the Santa Fe region.

To deepen its support for the modernization of the sector, Bice also has credits in liters of milk that are given in UVA with a fixed annual nominal rate. This funding, which was launched recently, is granted directly by the bank and is accompanied by investment projects and the purchase of machinery.
