Zacatecas, Zac.- The Educational Model for Life and Work (MEVyT) is a program that the National Institute of Adult Education (INEA) has designed so that people over 15 years of age who have not finished their primary or secondary education studies.
In this sense, the Zacatecano Institute for Adult Education (IZEA) joins the effort to promote this new online modality to study basic education, through an alternative to study from home or from where you have an Internet connection.
One of the advantages of the MEVyT online is the interactivity and feedback of the learner with an educational advisor to guide them and clarify their doubts through Distance Attention Tables.
Carlos Peña Badillo, director of IZEA, participated in the meeting via zoom led by the Director General of INEA, Rodolfo Lara Ponte, in which he was informed about the 2021 lines of action, as well as the operating rules and the implementation of Community Squares and the strengthening of Trainer-Advisor-Educating Networks.
Peña Badillo said that the Distance Attention Tables are aimed at Zacatecans over 15 years of age so that they can start or finish their basic education and thereby take care of and safeguard their health during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He stressed that one of the priorities of the Government of Alejandro Tello is to address the educational backwardness and, in that sense, the support it has given to the IZEA has allowed for a common front between the 58 municipalities, the state and federal governments, for the purpose of improve people’s living conditions through education.
