The Ministry of the General Secretariat of Government announced the creation of a new website where all the competitive funds granted by different public institutions will be found. The objective of this new portal is to group the more than 70 funds to provide an easy application process with universal accessibility.
The Fondos.gob.cl page brings together in one place information and applications for more than 70 project financing options granted by various public organizations, such as ministries, regional governments, municipalities, among others.
The Seremi of Government of the Ñuble Region, Valentina Pradenas, valued the creation of this new site and stated that “what is sought with this portal is to be an increasingly digitalized society and that there is clarity of state funds to those who can apply with the respective details of each of them. The website is simple and clear, which reflects the work we have developed regarding the modernization of the State, providing a friendlier service not only for the residents of Ñuble, but for the entire country.”
One of the main novelties of the platform is that it has interoperability of procedures with the Civil Registry and Identification Service. This means that, during the application for a fund, the platform can automatically incorporate those documents that the contest rules specify and that are issued by that entity.
