The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) filed a complaint against Presidential Commissioner Christian Flores for two cases of corruption.
The commissioner was arrested on April 25 after being accused of having taken advantage of his position to demand money in exchange for benefits and preferential participation in the government’s strategic projects.
In addition, the FGR’s investigations determined that at the moment there are 2 victims, whom the commissioner tricked into handing over money during 2021.
In that sense, the Prosecutor’s Office has abundant documentary and testimonial evidence that reinforces the accusation against Commissioner Flores.
Therefore, they requested the Peace Court of Antiguo Cuscatlán that Flores remain in provisional detention and his case move to the investigation phase.
