The medical director of the Northern Zone indicated that the vaccination campaigns for diseases typical of the winter season will be carried out free of charge in the various health care units that exist on the border.
He stated that he did not have current statistics on Covid cases, but projected that there will be an increase in respiratory diseases with the arrival of autumn and the gradual drop in temperatures.
“The Covid is there, it has not gone away and it is not going to go away. We are going to expect a higher incidence of influenza, flu and Covid cases in the coming weeks, but we will also have vaccination and preventive campaigns throughout these months,” he declared.
He indicated that they were about to receive vaccines for the prevention of influenza and that the vaccination campaigns will be in force from October to end in March of the following year.
