Like every year, the Temperley Athletic Club -through the Social and Solidarity Department- joins the social action of donating blood and on this occasion the campaign will take place on Friday the 18th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Gasolero facilities to collaborate with the Gandulfo de Lomas Hospital.
The “Donate your Celeste blood” proposal is carried out every year with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of collaborating with the Lomas health center, where thousands of people arrive every day.
“This is the eighth collection we have done and the first to collaborate with Gandulfo because the previous ones were for the Garrahan Hospital,” he explained. Jose Fernandez, the person in charge of the club’s social area.
Those interested in participating in the proposal can now reserve an appointment to collaborate with the organization of the event that will take place within the club located at Avenida 9 de Julio 360, Temperley.

To request an appointment, you just have to write a WhatsApp message to the number 1158925328 from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“We are very eager to carry out this collection because we are going to collaborate with our local hospital and we hope that many fans, partners and the community in general will join,” Fernández explained in dialogue with La Unión.
Although it is the first time that they are going to help Gandulfo in a blood collection, they clarified that campaigns are always carried out where the local hospital has been the protagonist. “We have made several collections for different sectors of Gandulfo and two Zumbaton, with the medical foundation of Lomas, to raise funds for neonatology,” said the head of the Social and Solidarity Department.
The only thing that is asked of those who sign up is to bring ID and eat normally.
