With a Special Session, imposition of the Simón Rodríguez Order and delivery of Special Recognitions, the Falcon State Legislative Council paid tribute to the Falconian medalists who participated in the XX National Sports Games.
“It has been a heroic participation by these young people who this year positioned our state in 6th place in the table, a feat that we proudly praise,” said the president of Clef, Legislator Ulises Daal.
He highlighted the work and support by the National and Regional Government, “the facts speak for themselves, being a great achievement for our state, the tireless work that Governor Víctor Clark has been doing to continue promoting Falconian sport is demonstrated.”
During her speech as the order speaker, Astrid Montero, Athlete of the Zambo discipline and the only female to win a Gold Medal, thanked the authorities andn general for all the support received to be able to carry out a successful participation in the games, Clef press release review.
For her part, the president of Fundefal, Betzabet Hernandezstated that on this occasion the young Falconians have made history thanks to their discipline and perseverance.
“Falcón begins a new era in sports, we have a golden generation and we will reinforce our commitment to our athletes,” Hernández said.
The event was attended by the mayor of the Los Taques municipality, Maria Arcaya, Ihe mayors of the Miranda and Carirubana municipalities, Henry Hernández and Abel Petit, respectively; as well as the representatives of the various powers of the State, leaders, athletes, among others.
