Amanda Lear underwent heart surgery at a clinic in Switzerland. After the serious surgery, the 82-year-old singer and actress posted a photo from the hospital bed and reassured her fans that she was feeling well and everything went according to plan.
“I am happy that I did it. Heart surgery. My heart has already recovered and I will love my fans even more,” wrote Amanda Lear, quoted by life.dir.bg.
The legendary star with a French and Italian passport has been in the spotlight for more than 60 years: model and muse of artist Salvador Dali, with whom she also had an affair, singer – thanks to her meeting with David Bowie in the 70s of the last century, and before that – a top model. Bowie persuaded her to leave the catwalk for music, and in the 1980s, Lear climbed to the top of all European charts with his specific low voice.
After living in Italy, she became a favorite TV character on the TV screen as a subretka and host of various shows. She has acted in feature and TV productions, and in Pixar’s “Phenomenal” animation she duplicates one of the heroines in Italian – the fashion stylist Edna Maud.
