This Thursday, Mayor Bill De Blasio presented a new proposal for New Yorkers who have not had the vaccine. In a partnership with the Big Apple’s most famous hamburger chain, the city partnered with Shake Shack to offer free burgers and fries to those who get vaccinated.

“We need all New Yorkers to get vaccinated,” expressed Mayor De Blasio.

Garuti expressed that if the person is vaccinated in some of the mobile clinics that are available in the most vulnerable neighborhoods of the city, “You will receive a coupon for a Shake Shack hamburger. In addition to the free burgers, De Blasio also reported that free tickets will be offered to live music festivals ‘Governors Ball’ at Citi Park and ‘Global Citizen Live’ in Central Park, which will return to function this summer.
