For months, the Island has experienced an increase in insecurity levels, which has brought with it an increase in vehicle thefts throughout the country.

This is not the first time that a citizen has resorted to offering a reward in dollars for information to find them, since the actions of the authorities seem not to be enough to find those responsible for the thefts.

In the middle of last year, the case of citizen Danita Aguilera became known, who published in the Facebook group ‘Sale and Purchase of Motorcycles in Camagüey’ about a motorcycle that was stolen in the town of Clavellinas.

On that occasion, the woman left her phone number and stated that she was willing to pay a reward to anyone who helped her find her.

A few months ago, another citizen of Camagüey He assured that he was willing to pay 300,000 Cuban pesos (CUP) for information to help him recover his motorcycle, which had been stolen from his own home during the early morning.

The request of the man, identified in networks as Gustavo Ortiz Morciego, was made due to the little effort on the part of the authorities to recover the vehicle.

“Today it has been 20 days since the robbery and I still have no response from the police. I give 300 thousand pesos as a reward for the motorcycle and the plant. Any information from anyone who recognizes the thieves or has any information, write privately or call 54441876,” he indicated on that occasion.
