They nationalize electricity … in the UK

While it is warned that a harsh winter is coming that will mainly affect the countries located in the north of Europe, United Kingdom and North America, the British authorities have decided to intervene and place in “Special administration” the company Bulb, which has one million 700 thousand users on the islands.

“Special administration” is a euphemism to nationalize a private company, and that despite all and the (non-existent) “market that regulates itself” could not fulfill its function of providing electricity hundreds of thousands of families and be profitable at the same time.

So that it hurts the (less and less) cheerleaders of capitalism and neoliberalism, the very leader of the “free” world (“free market” world, rather), Joe Biden, has reported a few hours ago that his government will intervene supplying more energy to his country, given the cold temperatures that are coming this winter and the possibility that a scenario like that of Texas at the beginning of the year will repeat itself.

The cheerleaders of capitalism that remain, and quite a few, mainly in traditional media, have less and less arguments to defend their failed, ecocidal and obsolete model …
