For this reason, the fourth dose will be applied to adults between 40 and 49 years old and essential workers: teachers, security forces (police and military), journalists, cameramen, photographers.

It will also apply to customer service personnel at banks, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels. Similarly to pregnant women with more than 4 months of gestation after having applied the first booster.

Health assured that it continues to apply the fourth dose to health workers, relief bodies, the population over 50 years of age and the immunocompromised. Also to the migrant population aged 12 and over.

In the statement, Health stated that until July 11, only 544,909 children from 5 to 11 years old are pending application of the first dose, 246,022 of the second dose.
