After a long day of work in the area known as San Isidro, in the Peña Blanca hamlet, in the jurisdiction of Tamanique, in the department of La Libertad, rescuers from the Salvadoran Red Cross managed to recover the body of a man who could not be identified.
It was said that the lifeguards must have walked more than an hour to reach where the deceased was.
Although relatives of the deceased arrived to identify the body, the authorities reported him missing because he lacked personal identification documents. It is being investigated.
First responders declined to reveal whether the person died from injuries or natural causes.
